If you have a [My Plankton] account, you also may close your account at any time by contacting Plankton customer service at tickets@plankton.mobi. If you close your account, you will not be able to sign in to your account or access any of your personal information. However, you can open a new account at any time. If you close your account, we may still retain certain information associated with your account for analytical purposes and record keeping integrity, as well as to prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, enforce our terms and conditions, take actions we think are necessary to protect the integrity of the Website or to protect our users, or take other actions otherwise permitted by law.

Please note that if we have already provided information about you to third parties (for example, if we’ve already sent your information to an event provider), or if you’ve given information to a third party (for example, by clicking on a website link taking you to a third party’s website, and you provided your contact information to that third party), retention of that information will be subject to those third parties’ policies. If you receive an unwanted email from a third party, you’ll have to opt-out from receiving further emails from that party itself.

Your Options

You can choose not to provide us with certain information. At any time, you can choose to no longer receive commercial or promotional emails from us by clicking on [My Plankton] and following the instructions to “manage your email alerts.” You may modify your choices at any time in your [My Plankton] account. Also, in any commercial email we send, you will be given the opportunity to opt out of receiving such messages in the future by clicking on the link at the bottom of the email that says “unsubscribe.” It may take up to 10 days for us to process an opt-out request.

Even if you have unsubscribed from receiving promotional emails from us, we may send you other types of important e-mail communications without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them. Facebook Connect

Plankton offers Facebook users the opportunity to interact with friends and to share on Facebook using Facebook Connect. If you are logged into both Plankton and Facebook, when you use the Site’s Facebook connection functions, we will link your Facebook account with your Plankton account if the email addresses match. If the email addresses do not match, we ask you if you want to link them and you must validate that you control the accounts. If you are already logged into Plankton but not logged into Facebook, when you use the Site’s Facebook connection functions, you will be prompted to enter your Facebook credentials or to sign up for Facebook. By proceeding through any of these scenarios, you grant Plankton permission to access your Facebook profile information and to use it in accordance with the Facebook terms of use and this Privacy Statement. If you are not currently registered as a Plankton user and you use the Site’s Facebook connection functions, you will first be asked to enter your Facebook credentials and then be given the option to register and join Plankton. Once you register with Plankton and connect with Facebook, you will be able to automatically post recent Plankton activity back to your Facebook wall. Please refer to the privacy settings in your Facebook account to manage the performance of your Facebook account. If you use Facebook Connect or the Plankton Facebook App, Plankton will create a [My Plankton] user account for you. Your [My Plankton] account will be governed by the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy located at www.plankton.mobi If you wish to close your [My Plankton] account, you may do so as provided in the Privacy Policy.

Children’s privacy

The Website is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. Children aged 13 or older should not submit any personal information without the permission of their parents or guardians. By using the Website, you are representing that you are at least 18, or that you are at least 13 years old and have your parents’ permission to use the Website.

Visiting our website from outside South Africa

This Privacy Policy covers the collection of information on the Website from S.A. residents.
